Pure Presence Retreat is a yoga and pilates retreat on the wild northern coast of Nicaragua, created for those craving connection.
This immersive experience invites you to slow down enough to feel again. To step out of constant doing and return to sensing — the rhythm of your breath, the weight of your feet on the earth, the warmth of sun on your skin.
Days unfold gently with yoga, pilates, intentional experiences, nourishing whole foods, and unhurried time by the sea. Movement becomes a way of listening. Rest becomes a way of remembering.
Here, connection isn’t something you strive for — it’s something you notice. In the steady beat of your heart. In salt air filling your lungs. In shared meals and honest conversation. In the quiet moments when you realize you feel fully here.
Rooted in mindful living and honest nourishment, this retreat offers a true reset — not by pushing or fixing, but by creating the conditions for your nervous system to settle and your body to feel safe again.
There is nothing to force and nothing to perform. Only the practice of arriving in your body, in your breath, and in one of Central America’s most breathtaking coastal landscapes.
What is included:
7 days, 6 nights stay at Still Salty Escape
Daily yoga (variety of styles)

MEET YOUR TEACHERS:
Val Aerni
Val is a mother of two, living with her family in the Bitterroot Mountains of Montana, where nature deeply informs how she lives and teaches.
As a yoga studio owner since 2018, she guides yoga, pilates, and wellness experiences rooted in mindful movement, nervous system support, and honest self-connection. She believe retreats are an opportunity to slow down, simplify, and listen—to the body, the breath, and what’s asking for attention.
Her intention as a retreat leader is to create spaces that feel safe, grounded, and welcoming, where presence is practiced gently and without pressure. Through shared movement, time in nature, she supports experiences that invite clarity, connection, and a deeper sense of coming home to yourself.
TRAVEL SUGGESTIONS:
Miami, Fort Lauderdale, and Houston all have direct flights to Nicaragua.
-MANAGUA is the closest airport to the retreat center.
-Still Salty Escape is about 3 - 4 hours from Managua airport depending on traffic.
-Private taxi transport can be arranged from the airport for an additional cost.

*A non-refundable deposit of $700 - $950 is required to secure your space.
*The retreat must be paid in full 60 days prior to the start date.

Still Salty reserves the right to cancel retreat if minimum sign ups are not reached 30 days prior (deposits will be refunded).
Still Salty is not responsible for lost, stolen, or missing items.

Still Salty is not responsible for airline cancelations, missed flights, or transportation issues prior to the retreat (including, but not limited to Covid related instances and restrictions).
Sponsored items are free, and not included in total cost of retreat (you cannot request for partial or total refund for not receiving sponsored items).
All reservations and bookings are first come first serve.
VALID PASSPORT IS REQUIRED if you are leaving your home country to attend retreat.
$700 - $950 deposit is non-refundable in addition to a $250 admin fee.
You have until 61 days before the retreat to request any refunds (all deposits are non-refundable).
Travel insurance is NOT included in the price of the retreat, and HIGHLY RECOMMENDED for ultimate protection
If you do not specify who your roommate is we will assume you are open to any guest.
You must sign and return liability waiver and retreat contract BEFORE the first day of the retreat.
You must pay the total balance of the retreat 60 days prior to the start date.
